In the late 1980’s a group on the east side of Milwaukee recognized the need to plant a PCA church (Presbyterian Church in America) in the western suburbs. In 1992, a core group was formed of 15 families living in these suburbs. On September 13, 1992, the very first public worship service was held in Waukesha with 35 families.

For nearly 15 years, Cornerstone Church met at Horning Middle School in Waukesha, growing to a congregation of around 200. In April of 2007, the church moved from the Waukesha middle school to a church building on Highway 83, just south of I-94 in the town of Delafield.

Today, Cornerstone is a thriving congregation of the PCA nestled in the expanding Milwaukee suburb of Delafield with a vision for impacting the western suburbs for Christ by calling them to Realize their need for Christ, to Respond to God’s call in worship, and to Relate the message of the gospel by Reaching out to Others.
