Music for worship on a Sunday morning is directed and led
by a team of singers and musicians referred to simply as a music team.
Several different music teams assist with worship on a rotating basis
and are overseen by the Director of Cornerstone's Music.
Music teams gather to practice during the week and during the Christian
education hour of a Sunday morning. Cornerstone's Music Director also offers the opportunity
for participation in the choir to present special offerings of music
to benefit the Cornerstone church community. The choir is open to all and practices are on an as-needed basis. In addition to ongoing music teams or choirs, there are also opportunity to provide special music, such as string quartets, brass
ensembles, solos, duets, or vocal ensembles. These are used for
postludes, preludes, preparation for a sermon, or calls to worship. Interested musicians or singers
should speak with the Music Director for how to join a music team, choir, or to use musical talents in other special ways. |
