Cornerstone's Emphasis Sundays Forward in Faith Capital Campaign This short series of sermons deal with the important topic of stewardship with a specific focus on what this means for Cornerstone as we look to build in the coming year. The Principle and Promise of Giving - 2 Corinthians 9 We imagine that to give is to lose, but Paul reminds us that to give is an investment with the promise from God that He grants grace to those who give, for in giving God gets the glory. Our Calling as Servant Leaders - Matthew 20:17-28 Leadership in the world is top down and often heavy handed. But God calls us to lead through suffering that serves others and which in the end, looks our redemption through Christ's death. Consumer Religion or Consuming Faith - Luke 21:1-4 The focus of our faith says much about what we believe. Does our faith consume us, touching every aspect of who we are and what we do? Or do we consume what we profess to believe for our own benefit and enjoyment? An Overview of Cornerstone's Vision - Acts 2:41-47 The building blocks of any church can be found here in Acts 2. From this passage we can see how the four corners of our vision are laid out. Our Rich God - Ephesians 3:14-21 What are you able to imagine that God is able to do for the glory of the body of Christ?
